Street or Track LLC :: Brakes :: Disc Brake Conversion Kits :: Baer Brakes
Baer Racing was founded in 1986. Founder Hal Baer’s technical and analytical skills, coupled with a keen ability to spot people with strong, diverse talents and assemble them into a cohesive team, continues to be Baer's greatest strength, both on and off the track.
Baer's racing resume includes race victories in SCCA Escort, Corvette Challenge, and World Challenge, as well as IMSA Firehawk and several classes of amateur competition.
Baer's corporate resume includes designing and building custom performance brake systems or components for Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Mitsubishi and Volvo of North America. Baer has also provided special development services to aftermarket leaders, such as Vortech Engineering, HKS USA, Roush Performance, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, Foose Design, Hotchkis, Steilow Engineering, Kenne-Bell, Posie's, ACC, RennTech, O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhart, Mallett Motorsports and others.
In late 1992, Baer Racing first offered enthusiasts integrated, bolt-on performance brake packages and began real production of their brake systems. To augment this effort in 1993, Hal Baer partnered with Todd Gartshore and Robert Sommers to form Baer, Inc. and Bear Brake Systems.
Brakes are Baer’s only business and this singular focus allows them to design, test and constantly improve Baer Brake Systems. Baer Brake Systems offer brake upgrades that do not required any welding or fabrication to successfully perform the installation and their complete system approach is backed up by dedicated and readily available, knowledgeable technical support.
