Add the convenience and reliability of a new column built specific for your classic Mustang. This steering column is not a universal column. Simply remove your old column, saving your original under-dash mount as well as the original floor mount. Using one of our installation kits install your new steering column in place of the old. Standard Features: Self-Canceling Turn Signals 8-Position Tilt 4-Way Flashers Knobs and Handles Ford Turn Signal Switch Ford Top Shaft Floor Mount included 3/4" 36 Lower Shaft Available Finishes: Paintable Steel, Chrome Plated Steel, Black Powder Coat Steering Wheel Bolt Patterns Available: Ford Top Spline Note: A stock Ford wheel will bolt on the top of an ididit steering column. Install Instructions 1967 Installation Kits: Your original column has a solid shaft from inside the gearbox to the steering wheel. This shaft may need to be cut and modified. Depending on your type of box will determine the required installation kit. Long Stock Box: Long refers to the fact that the column and box were one integral part. If you have a long stock box you will need a 3/4"DDx3/4"36 Coupler (C5ZZ-3514-IK). You will also need to modify your original shaft coming out of the gearbox to the DD style. Short Stock Box: Short refers to the fact that the original column came attached with a rag joint. If you have a short stock box you will need a 3/4"36x3/4"DD Coupler, 2 5/16" long DD Shaft and a 3/4"DDx3/4"36 Rag Joint (C7ZZ-3514-IK).
