Front Disk Brake Kit
Disc brake conversion kit for 1964-70
Mustangs.

Fits 65-70
Mustangs. Direct bolt on to 65-73 Mustang V8 OE
drum spindles (65-67 any spindle, 68-73 drum
version only). Requires no modifications! Retains OE track width and enables
use of 15 & 16" (or larger) vintage style & offset wheels without spacers or modifications.
Kit includes:
2 x Cobra style PBR aluminum 2 piston calipers with Performance Friction 'Z'
rated pads
2 x Custom cast/milled caliper anchors with retaining pins and e-clips
2 x CAD designed, CNC machined billet caliper mounting brackets
2 x DOT legal braided steel flex hoses with adapters to connect to the OE hard
line
2 x Banjo bolts
4 x Crush washers
2 x 11.25" diameter rotors (plain or slotted/directional - see below for
specifications)
2 x Inner bearings and races (races come pre-installed into your choice of
rotor)
2 x Timken inner dust seals
2 x Outer bearings and races (races come pre-installed into your choice of
rotor)
2 x Keyed bearing retainer washers
2 x Castle nuts (70-73 spindles use nut and castle style nut retainer)
2 x Cotter pins
2 x Dust caps

Choose either plain non-directional rotors, slotted directional
rotors or cryogenically treated slotted
directional rotors and experience up to 150% better rotor wear!
Deep cryogenic treatment is a
one-time process that permanently improves the performance and
service life of metals from brake rotors and engine parts, to
machine tools and gear sets. Using a proprietary computer-controlled
process, the metal is cooled gradually to -300°F and then slowly
returned to room temperature and heat-cycled as the final step.
Although not apparent to the naked eye, the improvements to the
rotor are significant. The cryogenic treatment process redistributes
residual stress in the rotor giving it an extra level of protection
against warping.
